The House Blue - Mritunjay Kumar
A pop-up photography exhibition and collaborative narrative theatre performance that explored migration, and the meaning of home.
16 February 2025
Rooted in a series of images taken by documentary photographer and filmmaker Mritunjay Kumar on the last day his family occupied a government quarter, the performance reflects on themes of migration, displacement, and loss. While the photographs capture the fleeting moments of leaving a house, the show delves deeper into the emotions, memories, and universal questions surrounding what it means to leave, let go, and redefine home.
