Oddbird curates and produces live arts experiences across theatre, movement, music, and more. But we’re more than just a venue - we’re hands-on collaborators in shaping meaningful encounters between artists and audiences.
We work closely with independent artists at different stages of their practice - supporting original ideas, ongoing processes, and finished performances. Sometimes we co-create from scratch. Sometimes we offer a home for work that’s ready to meet an audience. Either way, we stay in conversation throughout - offering production insight, marketing strategies and a deep understanding of how the work might breathe in our space.
Our programming is shaped by curiosity, care, and a strong sense of context. We’re drawn to work that sparks conversation, invites reflection, and creates space for shared experience - whether it’s devised, text-based, movement-led, interdisciplinary, or something harder to define.

We review each submission carefully as part of an ongoing, evolving curatorial process. While we’re not able to host everything, we do take each proposal seriously - and we’ll be in touch within four weeks.
SPACESWAP PROGRAM
(Space Barter)
At OddBird, we believe in the power of collaboration to shape meaningful artistic experiences. Through our SpaceSwap program, we open our doors to artists, offering the chance to use our space without a traditional rental fee. Instead, we invite you to contribute your unique talents and expertise.
Whether it’s hosting a workshop, sharing a performance, or lending your skills to a special project, this exchange embodies our ethos of shared resources, creativity, and community.
