Tarun Balani and Jivraj Singh have always compared notes from their respective artistic lives. From this interweaving of practices to music-making might seem like a short step - yet it took well over a decade for this collaboration to materialise.
What ultimately drew the two musicians together was a shared commitment to use music as an agent of free-thinking directed against the status quo, and a deepening trust in the mysterious ritual of listening. Both Tarun and Jivraj were on multiple instruments - synthesisers, drum set, percussion, trumpet, electronics, and sound-making materials of various kinds.
