Say, What? by Avantika Bahl and Vishal Sarvaiya
A contemporary dance duet that explored sound, embodiment and body language.

Why do we think that hearing is the only way to listen?
Say, What? was a contemporary dance duet that explored sound, embodiment and body language. As a conversation with a hearing impaired dancer, it was performed in complete silence, and slid between using and abandoning language as we know it. By questioning the idea of speaking as the basis for meaning, this performance prodded us to rethink our perspectives on inclusion, access and privilege.
