Salon of the Anonymous: Episode 1 by Avatari Devi

Part of the Friends of Oddbird Festival lineup, Avatari Devi hosted a dramatised reading of Sakina’s Whale Poop & Other Distractions.

The Friends of Oddbird Festival 2025 began with an evening that celebrated work in progress. Salon of the Anonymous was designed as a space where artists and non-artists alike can share unfinished ideas, first attempts, or deeply personal expressions - not polished performances, but honest experiments.

The very first edition was hosted by Avatari Devi and featured a dramatised reading of Whale Poop & Other Distractions by Sakina - an emotionally open reflection on memory, estrangement, and the uneasy process of healing.
