An exhibition of archival photographs of the legendary dancer/choreographer Chandralekha and her choreographic works spanning 20 years, that offered a glimpse of her pioneering work in contemporary Indian dance. Her inspirational work with femininity, gender and the body in the late 20th century continues to be relevant, and with the theme of this edition rooted in the political body, her work formed a central component of the Ignite Dance Festival.
