Lights On was the debut album and live performance by philterSoup, the moniker of Mumbai-based artist Sanjay Das. While philterSoup began in 2018 as a pseudonym for releasing original music, it grew into a platform for Sanjay’s ongoing experiments with expressive, left-field electronica and boundary-pushing audiovisual work.

The performance drew on this evolving practice - merging glitchy UK club textures, noise, and ambient influences with the confessional clarity of intimate songwriting. Tracks built only to break apart - sometimes dissolving into distortion, sometimes arriving at startling moments of grace.
