One BHK
A mother-daughter relationship explored through a series of phone conversations, emails, SMS, recollections and reflections.
5 October 2019
In a way, One BHK was about everyone who has left home to find a new one. It was about the everyday monotony of living alone. And it was about understanding that the old were once young too. In this experiment, audience members themselves participated in the storytelling. 6 members of the audience could choose to read while others listened. The milieu of different voices and versions of a universally shared experience added a layer of intimacy and engagement to the proceedings.
