Jwala - Mythili Prakash
Presented by Ganesa Natyalaya, this was a Bharatanatyam solo by Mythili Prakash following the language of fire as it carries us through loss, change, and return.
1 February 2026
This Bharatanatyam solo unfolded around the elemental force of fire: a destroyer of homes and histories, yet the same flame we light in prayer, remembrance, and longing. Presented by Ganesa Natyalaya, Jwala (meaning a rising flame) was a piece shaped by the precision and emotional charge of Bharatanatyam, accompanied by live vocals and music. Dancer Mythili Prakash moved between fury and stillness, collapse and recovery, tracing the unseen flame that urges life forward even in the darkest hours. The result was a deeply personal and luminous performance, forged from grief, resilience, and transformation.
