Jashn-e-Qalam, is a collective of stage and screen actors, skilled in dramatic storytelling of short stories from the Partition era. Rajesh Kumar enacted Padhiye Kalma - a crime story by Sa'adat Hasan Manto, complete with love and passion, put to the test by society. Vicky Ahuja brought to life Sardar Ji, by Khwaja Ahmed Abbas, in which the illustration of mob vigilantism as manifested through the eyes of an individual, offered familiar parallels ripe for discussion after the show.
