A musical concert where Iranian-Kurdish percussionist Sina Fakhroddin met Lebanese American Rami Gabriel on the oud, blending new arrangements alongside traditional compositions.
9 November 2025
This edition of Hum Nawazi brought together Iranian-Kurdish percussionist Sina Fakhroddin and Lebanese-American musician Rami Gabriel - in a dialogue between rhythm and melody, tombak and oud, tradition and improvisation. Rami, known for blending Arabic musical roots with blues and jazz influences from his years in Chicago, joined Sina in exploring how music travels, transforms, and keeps time across cultures.
