Robert Riley’s Odditorium, a group of once successful travelling circus-freaks, comes to the end of its career with the demise of interest in the form. Changing tastes mean they fall on hard times. And hard times call for desperate measures. What were once nature's marvels are now viewed as nature's aberrations. The wagon is tatty, the fairy-lights flicker and the costumes have faded. They have already eaten the horse.
