Part of the Friends of Oddbird Festival 2025 lineup, this performance wove music and storytelling to trace fragments of a life - its grief, humour, and detours - through the voice of a Mynah bird.

The Friends of Oddbird Festival closed with a one-man performance by singer-songwriter Shashwat Bulusu that blended music and storytelling into a single, unpredictable journey. Slipping between song and spoken word, the piece moved from absurd humour to quelling grief, traced through the strange companionship of a Mynah bird.
