An evening of contemporary Kathak by Gaurav Bhatti and Aamrapali Bhandari - that explored the seeker’s quest, the rhythms of feminine energy, and the balance of Shiva and Shakti.

Dancers Gaurav Bhatti and Aamrapali Bhandari presented a contemporary Kathak performance tracing the arc of human consciousness. Through three choreographic works, the evening moved from the seeker’s quest for truth, inspired by Bulleh Shah, to an invocation of feminine energy in Avartini, and finally to Bindu - a duet that embodies the union of Shiva and Shakti.
Each piece expanded Kathak’s vocabulary with new movement possibilities while remaining deeply grounded in its rhythm, poetics, and philosophy.
