Sunil Mehra and Pallav Mishra brought forth two rich narratives in an evening of Dastangoi: Amar Bel and Badi Umar ki Biwi ke Faayede.

Amar Bel written by Ismat Chugtai - a poignant but bittersweet tale of an older man married to a much younger woman whose beauty and abundant youth are a constant rebuke to his own decline into old age. This was prefaced by Badi Umar ki Biwi ke Faayede, a short humorous piece by Mushtaq Ahmed Yusufi, a noted Pakistani satirist.
