Audience Reading Room: The Skeleton Woman facilitated by Neel Chaudhuri

A facilitated script reading that invites you to step into a character, explore a story, and read as part of an ensemble - no prior theatre experience required.

9 February 2025

Via Audience Reading Room, participants have a chance to immerse themselves in an ensemble. Led by professional theatre facilitators, these script readings allow you to explore characters, ideas, and perspectives in a safe and supportive space.

This session spotlighted The Skeleton Woman by Kalki Koechlin and Prashant Prakash, and was facilitated by Neel Chaudhuri. In the script, a young writer with a potent imagination finds himself entangled in his own creations. With sharks in his living room, a goose that speaks, and a skeleton that’s driving him mad, he struggles to keep a grasp on what’s real and what’s in his head. With him through all of this is his wife, who is constantly trying to bring him back down to earth.
