Audience Reading Room: For the Record facilitated by Neel Sengupta, Kshitij Mervin & Krittika Bhattacharjee

A facilitated script reading that invites you to step into a character, explore a story, and read as part of an ensemble - no prior theatre experience required.

24 November 2024

Via Audience Reading Room, participants have a chance to immerse themselves in an ensemble. Led by professional theatre facilitators, these script readings allow you to explore characters, ideas, and perspectives in a safe and supportive space.

This session featured For The Record by Dhwani Vij, Kriti Pant, Krittika Bhattacharjee, Kshitij Mervin, Neel Sengupta, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Prashant Prakash and Nikhil Mehta; and was facilitated by cast members Kshitij Mervin, Neel Sengupta and Krittika Bhattacharjee. In 1971, a tribunal is tasked with selecting three artefacts that represent India to the world. 2019 brings out the drama which led to this eventful chain of events; this is a play about cultural consciousness and raises questions on the ways in which we represent it.
