9 Grader Nord (9 Degrees North) is a dynamic Tamil folk rock band from Norway, fronted by sisters Mira and Dipha Thiruchelvam. Drawing from Tamil folk traditions, Carnatic music, and baila, their sound fused bamboo flute, cajon, and rock energy into a powerful live experience.

Formed in 2016, the band quickly became one of the most striking acts in the Nordic music scene, known for performances that are rebellious, joyful, and self-assured.
