All ticket sales are final and non-refundable, except in the event of a complete cancellation by Wasp Studios Pvt Ltd (WSPL) or Oddbird Theatre.

Tickets are non-transferable unless explicitly allowed in the booking confirmation.

Entry rights are reserved. Oddbird Theatre and WSPL reserve the right to refuse admission or remove any attendee whose conduct is disruptive, unsafe, or violates event norms.

Latecomers may not be permitted to enter once a performance has started. Entry is at the discretion of the front-of-house staff.

WSPL is not responsible for event content, themes, or opinions expressed by artists or performers.

Attendees are advised to review age suitability and content warnings before booking.

Performances may be recorded or photographed for documentation or promotional use. By attending, you consent to being part of such media.

No unauthorized photography, videography, or recording is permitted during the performance.

In the event of rescheduling, your ticket remains valid for the new date. No refunds shall be issued unless otherwise stated.

WSPL shall not be liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings occurring on the premises.

The following items are strictly prohibited at the venue - including but not limited to open flames, firearms or replicas, pyrotechnic devices, narcotics or illegal substances, animals and pets.

WSPL reserves the right of entry and access at the venue.

Any disruption, unruly behavior, nuisance caused or damage/destruction to the venue shall be actionable and WSPL reserves the right to take appropriate action in this regard.

What does it mean to sing for dignity, and to find freedom in one’s own voice?
In Dastan-e-Akhtari, theatre artist and storyteller Kafeel Jafri joins vocalist Yusra Naqvi to bring alive the extraordinary life of ghazal icon Begum Akhtar, tracing her rise from the margins of a courtesan household to the heights of Hindustani classical music. A Dastangoi-style performance blending narrative and live music, the piece unfolds through spoken word, song, and anecdotes. Yusra's renditions of Begum Akhtar's ghazals, thumris, and dadras punctuate Kafeel's narration, creating a seamless weave of story and sur. The performance is accompanied by live tabla, harmonium and sarangi. Dastango: Kafeel Jafri Vocals: Yusra Naqvi Yusra Naqvi is a vocalist & musician who sings khayal, dhamaar, thumri, dadra, ghazals and bhajans.
