A close associate of Bhartendu Harishchandra, Badri Narayan Chaudhary aka Premghan, contributed significantly to the development of modern Hindi. He wrote prolifically - poetry and prose. Much of his sangeet kavya prescribes ragas as well as the musical form he believed would be appropriate for its rendition. However, none of the compilations of his writings contain musical notations. Shubha Mudgal and Aneesh Pradhan composed and curated a musical repertoire based on these texts, presenting it in an unforgettable show.
