Love, Prufrock - Third Space Collective
A movement theatre piece derived from T.S. Eliot’s poem The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock.
27 May 2017
About
Written at the dawn of the 20th Century, the poem examines the disillusionment of a man, with the times he is living in. Finding its relevance in current times, Third Space Collective used bodies, text, sounds, objects and visual media, to respond to the deserted landscape of our urban existence. The performance relied on the physicality of the actors rather than dialogue to invite myriad interpretations of dystopia.
