Tilt, Pause, Shift: New Ecologies of Dance in India - a book launch
Tilt Pause Shift was a unique book project initiated by Gati Dance Forum to encourage new critical writing in the area of contemporary dance in India.
13 October 2016
Considering the elusive nature of the ‘contemporary’ in dance, where it is neither a temporal moment nor a static form or style of movement, the book addressed points of evolution in the creation and practice of dance in India today - highlighting new channels of thought and enquiry, shifts in form, and changes in modes of movement and expression.
