Besharam Aadmi - directed by Vijay Sharma
In a solo act performed by Amol Parashar, a young, 'progressive' man spiraled into a hilarious and thought-provoking cycle of introspection when confronted by the discomfort of handling his wife's lingerie - in front of his parents.

A young married man, proud of his modern values, believes he shares his home and responsibilities equally with his wife. But when his parents visit, a small act - hesitating to hang his wife’s undergarments to dry - unravels his self-image. In this humorous yet vulnerable solo performance, he turned the gaze inward, examining the patriarchal expectations that quietly shape his behaviour. Through sharp wit and emotional candour, Besharam Aadmi asked what real progress looks like when old conditioning meets new ideals.
