About the event

Bardo Beings is a work-in-progress showing set in a world of transition - the space between what has ended and what has not yet begun. Through movement, charged interactions, and repeating cycles of behaviour, the piece looks at how people stay connected to one another through attachment, conflict, and the need to belong. Rooted in the experience of living in today’s uncertain world, the piece draws on instinct and physical impulse rather than words. Bodies collide, separate, and return, as past experiences bleed into the present. The audience enters a shifting landscape where closeness and opposition exist side by side, and relationships are constantly forming, straining, and reshaping.

Choreography: Diya Naidu Performance: Ronita Mookerji Oddlab is a home for experimental work at Oddbird, connecting artists and audiences in various stages of a piece: early life, work-in-progress sharings, and evolving practices.
