And in 2021, amidst lockdowns and uncertainty, two musicians - Pete Izzard from Somerset, UK, and Rachanachar from Shimla, India - used this technique to connect across continents. Without ever meeting in person, they composed a song that became a refuge, a way to escape the confines of home and find solace in sound.
