All ticket sales are final and non-refundable, except in the event of a complete cancellation by WSPL or OddBird Theatre.

Tickets are non-transferable unless explicitly allowed in the booking confirmation.

Entry rights are reserved. OddBird Theatre and WSPL reserve the right to refuse admission or remove any attendee whose conduct is disruptive, unsafe, or violates event norms.

Latecomers may not be permitted to enter once a performance has started. Entry is at the discretion of the front-of-house staff.

WSPL is not responsible for event content, themes, or opinions expressed by artists or performers.

Attendees are advised to review age suitability and content warnings before booking.

Performances may be recorded or photographed for documentation or promotional use. By attending, you consent to being part of such media.

No unauthorized photography, videography, or recording is permitted during the performance.

In the event of rescheduling, your ticket remains valid for the new date. No refunds shall be issued unless otherwise stated.

WSPL shall not be liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings occurring on the premises.

The following items are strictly prohibited at the Venue - including but not limited to open flames, firearms or replicas, pyrotechnic devices, narcotics or illegal substances, animals and pets.

WSPL reserves the right of entry and access at the Venue.

Any disruption, unruly behavior, nuisance caused or damage/destruction to the Venue shall be actionable and WSPL reserves the right to take appropriate action in this regard.

About the event

Firefly Women is a physical theatre duet that brings together real letters, imagined futures, and moments of interaction from the audience. Drawing from the writings of three Indian women imprisoned under a strict national security law, the performance weaves personal stories of protest, prison life, and resistance. These letters are layered with Sultana’s Dream, a century-old feminist sci-fi story by Rokeya Sakhawat Hossain.


Performed in English and Hindustani, the piece combines movement, spoken word, hand-crafted puppets, and sound to move between memory and imagination. The tone is gentle yet charged, with moments of stillness, warmth, and defiance. Audiences are invited to participate in small ways throughout, turning the performance into a shared space of reflection and co-creation.
