About the event
Presented by the Atelier Repertory Company, this is an evening that brings together gurbani (sacred hymns, verses and compositions of the Sikh Gurus), theatre, and dastangoi to trace the life and teachings of Guru Nanak. Performed by dastangos who narrate and sing simultaneously, the piece moves through his travels, encounters, and verses - centring his enduring idea of Oneness.
The performance unfolds in an intimate setting where word and melody carry equal weight. Rather than presenting history as spectacle, it offers a shared spiritual experience - one that invites listeners into reflection, connection, and a sense of togetherness.
Dastango: Gaurav Suri, Guneet Kaur & Dr Mansi Grover
Costumes: Sangrah Atelier
Production: Manjot Singh & Gurjot Singh
