Audience Reading Room
An original format developed by OddBird, Audience Reading Room was born during the pandemic to meet the evolving needs of that time. Designed for a diverse audience in the digital space, it quickly exceeded expectations when the team discovered that the format thrived in a shared physical space.
This concept facilitates script readings of Indian playwrights, incorporating warm-ups and character work for both theatre newcomers and enthusiasts. Each participant gets the opportunity to read, and every session culminates in a lively conversation. The Audience Reading Room creates a fun and engaging space for audiences to explore their theatre fantasies while encouraging deeper connections with the texts through character role play.

INITIATIVES
Failing Up, as developed by OddBird, redefines the art of improvisation as a powerful tool for personal and professional growth. Designed to empower participants by embracing the concept of ‘failing up,’ this concept invites individuals to explore the transformative potential of mistakes and spontaneity. Through engaging activities and collaborative exercises, participants discover how to cultivate emotional awareness, foster creativity, and enhance their ability to adapt in various situations.
Each session emphasises a supportive environment where participants can confidently take risks, share ideas, and learn from one another.
